POSITION SUMMARY
The Pauma Heritage Quick Stop - Starbucks is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Starbucks team!
The Starbucks Barista is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages and food items, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and demonstrates a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Prepare and serve Starbucks beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Accurately take orders, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, and process payments.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, ingredients, and promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the store.
- Restock supplies and rotate products according to food safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and food handling requirements.
- Participate in required training and professional development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- No prior experience required; customer service or food service experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
- Must obtain Starbucks certification within 30 days of hire.
