Position Overview

We are seeking Project Engineer Interns to join our growing engineering and construction team. As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems for complex commercial and industrial projects. This position offers hands-on experience working directly with our licensed professional engineers, project managers, and field teams to deliver high-quality, design-build solutions.

Responsibilities

· Design and draft mechanical systems using Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software.

· Assist in developing HVAC layouts, load calculations, and equipment selections.

· Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Teams to ensure accurate installation and design intent.

· Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and general contractors throughout all project phases.

· Apply engineering principles of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Fluid Dynamics to real-world design and construction challenges.

· Participate in project meetings, submittal reviews, and client coordination efforts.

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (EIT preferred).

· 0–3 years of experience in mechanical design or construction (internship or co-op experience welcome).

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit required; familiarity with Navisworks or similar 3D coordination software a plus.

· Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.

· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow professionally.
