Paulding Care Center is seeking a dedicated, PRN Speech Language Pathologist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy sessions to patients to improve speech and language skills
- Monitor and document progress of patients throughout the course of therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working as a Speech Therapist preferred
- Knowledge of various speech disorders and treatment methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
