Qualifications
- Graduate with Associates degree in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA.
- Holds current license and/or registration in the state of Georgia
- Current CPR certification
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
- Assists Physical Therapists in directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
- Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity.
- Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
- Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
