Paula Teacher & Associates, Inc. is hiring a Part Time Activities Aide to support individuals at the Torrance State Hospital Drop-In Center in Blairsville, PA. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, planning activities, and creating a welcoming engaging environment.

Responsibilities Include

Reliable Transportation is Required

• Plan, set up and lead recreational activities for participants
• Encourage and support active participants in activities
• Facilitate positive social interaction among participants
• Assist with light cooking and food preparation
• Perform general cleaning and basic facility upkeep
  
  

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable working with individuals in a group setting
• Able to follow directions and work independently when needed
• Must have reliable transportation to the center
  
  

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Background Check (Act 34). All applicants must be willing to undergo this background check as a condition of employment, in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
