Overview
We are hiring a general store team member (floater). This role helps wherever needed in the store. You may help prepare food, stock shelves, assist customers at the register, and maintain the store's cleanliness.
This is an active, hands-on job. You will be on your feet, working with food, cleaning, stocking shelves, and helping customers throughout your shift. Some days are busy and fast-paced. We focus on doing the basics well and supporting each other as a team.
Over time, this role may become more specific based on what you do best.
Responsibilities
- Cook food following training and instructions
- Stock shelves, coolers, and freezers
- Help customers at the cash register
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Take out trash and keep work areas tidy
- Update order sheets to help keep items in stock
- Work as part of a team to create a positive store atmosphere
- Follow store procedures to keep the store running smoothly and consistently each shift
This role involves standing for long periods, lifting boxes, and physical work such as stocking and cleaning.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience cooking food preferred
- Previous fast food or restaurant experience preferred

- Comfortable helping customers
- Ability to use a cash register or POS system is a bonus

Employment Status
Employment at Paula’s is at-will. Either the employee or Paula’s may end employment at any time, with or without cause or notice.
Management roles begin with a 60-day probationary period focused on leadership, reliability, and consistency. During this time, responsibilities and compensation may increase as trust and performance are demonstrated.
