What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Center Director position at Paul W Delauter Youth Center?
The Paul W. Delauter Youth Center is hiring a part-time Center Director to lead daily operations, supervise staff and volunteers, and support prevention-focused programming for youth and families. This position is a 3 year contracted position, 20 hours per week with potential for additional hours. The Ideal candidate should be vision-driven, organized, energetic, community-minded, experienced working with youth, volunteers, and a non-profit Board of Directors.
Key Duties include, but are not limited to:
· Create a yearly vision and action plan for the Center
· Assist with fundraising and grant reporting
· Implement evidence-based prevention curriculum
· Expand programming and attend community outreach events
· Develop monthly activity calendars with the staff Program Specialists
· Maintain required clearances, forms and records
· Volunteer Recruitment and scheduling
· Staff and volunteer management
· Track attendance, manage supplies, and maintain organized program spaces
· Coordinate special events, family engagement, and Center rentals
