What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator - Front-End Loader position at Paul's?
Essential functions
Operate front-end loaders to move material and vehicles throughout the yard
Load material onto trucks, trailers, etc. as needed
Ensure that all materials are properly segregated and prepared for sale to customers
Assist in maintain accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations
Perform other duties as assigned by mangement

Strong communication, interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yards
Proficient in basic math and computer skills
Valid Driver’s license is required
must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Physical demands
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
