Job Summary
The Sales & Operations Specialist is responsible for managing daily yard operations including customer service, parts sales, cash and scale transactions, and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service at point of sale and during inquiries
• Handle cash, credit card, and scale transactions with accuracy and integrity
• Weigh incoming and outgoing materials including scrap, vehicles, and parts; provide correct pricing
• Accurately complete and maintain financial and inventory records
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts availability, pricing and compatibility
• Maintain and update pricing as direct by the Sales Director
• Collaborate with the yard team to ensure inventory accuracy and effective workflow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to support repeat business
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage operations
• Perform related duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Basic math proficiency
• Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
