Job Summary
The Auto Dismantler/Parts Puller is responsible for removing parts from salvaged vehicles, ensuring that parts are properly identified, organized, and prepared for sale to customers. Duties
- Identify and remove parts from salvaged vehicles using hand tools and power tools. * Inspect and test parts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Properly identify and label parts, ensuring that they are organized and stored appropriately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track the movement of parts.
- Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yards preferred. * Valid driver's license.
