Duties
- Assist with the receipt, inspection, and cataloging of auction items using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Load and unload items safely using heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
- Prepare items for auction by organizing storage areas and ensuring proper materials handling procedures are followed
- Operate heavy machinery including cranes, forklifts, and load & unload equipment in accordance with OSHA safety standards
- Manage shipping & receiving processes, including order picking and accurate documentation of inventory movements
- Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating order picking, heavy lifting, and load securing for transport
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment while adhering to safety protocols and mechanical knowledge requirements
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with a focus on materials handling and heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners for inventory control
- Experience operating cranes, forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues on warehouse equipment
- Prior experience in construction or shipping & receiving is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking
