A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A FINANCIAL AID Assistant
As a Financial Aid Assistant you arrive each day motivated and energized to help our co students achieve their dreams for higher education! You assist in create and implement a financial aid plan that supports our culture, the admissions process, and our future professionals. Your organizational skills are essential as you prepare and gather all paperwork pertaining to grants and loans. You assist in counsel and advise students and their families on financial aid eligibility and guidelines to create a personalized plan. Additionally, you assist in collect student payments . You assist in entrance and exit counseling of financial aid.
Administrative tasks include assisting in filing, building student files, closing student files, etc. administrative skills must be able to use Excel, Power Point , basic computer skills
Assisting in inspections of files for compliance with all federal and state regulations, you are able to keep all necessary items up to date and ensure that everything runs smoothly. Everything you do is driven by your desire to go above and beyond for our future professionals to assist them in their cosmetology goals. Each day you know that you are making a difference by helping our students achieve higher education.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience
- Computer and data entry skills
- Accounting or banking experience
- Customer service savviness
