The Financial Aid Assistant models effective facility leadership and possesses proficient managerial, time management, and organizational skills for handling issues related to the facility's Financial Aid duties and other related business needs.
Qualifications:
The Financial Aid Assistant must demonstrate human relations and practical communication skills. They must learn and understand federal and state regulations and financial aid procedures, which are critical elements of this position.
Objective:
The Financial Aid Assistant implements a customer-focused financial aid plan supporting the Paul Mitchell Schools' culture, admissions process, service, and Future Professionals. The assistant demonstrates integrity, ethical behavior, and a high level of confidentiality in recognizing and working with confidential information and records concerning the personal finances of Future Professionals.
Skills/Competencies Required:s
- Data entry/clerical work for a Financial Aid office.
- Comfortable with basic desktop programs such as Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Honesty and professionalism
- Solid work history with verifiable references
- Must have good interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient organizational skills
