In business since 1988 and family owned for 2 generations, Paul Martin & Sons sells and services planting, application, harvest, tillage and hay and forage equipment from highly recognizable brands, servicing a large and diverse customer base. With locations in Urbana and Napoleon, Paul Martin & Sons is positioned to be a leader in farm equipment sales throughout Ohio.
Our growth in the central Ohio area has created a need for a self-motivating, self-starting, Branch Manager that is able to lead store operations and employees in Urbana.
Job Requirements:
-Human Resources.
-Hiring employees and ability to retain them
-Schedule employee hours so that open store hours are maintained.
-Working with ownership to set store budget
-Determining where branch resources are to be spent
-Projecting wholegood sales revenues, parts sales revenue, service revenue
-Payroll Budget – determining where best to use payroll dollars in the branch
-Marketing Budget – determine what marketing works for the central Ohio area and where to invest in marketing campaigns
-Setting up daily tasks for store employees. Ensure that tasks are completed
-Ability to analyze and translate Profit and Loss statements for Urbana store to guide decisions
-Help ownership create a realistic and attainable 5 year and 10 year business plans for central Ohio
-Updates with weekly reports. Reports may include
-Sales Department - Weekly sales call/sales prospect reports
-Weekly service project reports
-Reports specifically regarding parts department
-Maintain a clean, welcomingandsafe storefront and shop area for customers and employees
-Being a small branch, there will be need for our branch manager to pitch in wherever needed. This would include wholegood sales, parts sales and light service work.
- Continue to grow Paul Martin & Sons reputation and opportunities in the central Ohio area
Qualifications:
-Associates or Bachelors Degree
-Previous supervisory or management experience
-Agricultural experience preferred. Farm Equipment experience even better.
-Extended working hours during peak times plus possible Saturday hours
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug test
-Microsoft office applications, specifically Excel, Word and Power Point
-Ability to use dealership specific computer software
