Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic trailer and light tractor repairs under supervision
- Learn shop safety protocols, mechanical systems, and repair workflows
- Support senior technicians with diagnostics and repair tasks
- Utilize FleetRock software to complete digital Repair Orders (ROs)
- Accurately document time, parts usage, and repair notes
- Assist with parts inventory tracking and organization
- Participate in preventative maintenance and inspection processes
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Demonstrate consistent improvement in technical ability and efficiency
- Work collaboratively with the team to support shop productivity
- 0–1 year of experience in diesel, automotive, or trailer repair (or trade school completion)
- Strong desire to build a long-term career in fleet maintenance
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment
- Comfortable using tablets and shop software (training provided)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Physically capable of working in a shop environment

- Small payroll deduction applied toward tool ownership over time (minimum payment towards rent-to-own tool program $1/hr)
