Job Overview
Family owned and Family oriented for over 80 years!! We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and site experience. This role requires effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Develop project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and ProCore.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee project estimating processes and prepare detailed budgets using tools like HeavyBid.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders including clients, team members, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review contracts and ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution effectively.
- Manage time efficiently by prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as necessary.
Skills
- Proficient in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and HeavyBid.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.
- Excellent project scheduling capabilities with a focus on timely delivery of milestones.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and coordination within the construction industry.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to inform decision-making on-site.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with contracts related to construction projects is essential.
