We have an opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer.
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the development of test approaches, estimates and plans for complex integrated systems. They will drive successful test execution and completion in support of key projects.

The salary wage range that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $81,500 and a maximum of $103,800 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Engineer will lead the development of test approaches, estimates and plans for complex integrated systems. They will drive successful test execution and completion in support of key projects.
In this capacity, the Quality Assurance Engineer will:
- Provides input on functional requirements and advises on design and configuration of client software applications;
- Ensures delivery of testable and traceable requirements and effectively applies appropriate testing techniques to ensure comprehensive end-to-end black box testing;
- Leads user story and test case development, and test execution;
- Designs, develops, documents and maintains test artifacts for functional, integration, system, and acceptance testing;
- Creates test plans outlining test approach and risk mitigation;
- Prepares and may oversee the preparation of test data and readiness of test environment prior to test execution;
- Analyzes test results to identify defects, errors and configuration issues, and advises on the severity of issues;
- Performs defect triage and assesses potential impact and resolution, providing enough details for the development team to fix issues;
- Publishes and communicates effective test metrics which enable effective decision making around quality;
- Makes recommendations regarding delivery quality and influences the business in implementation decisions;
- Coordinates with QA team members on-site, off-site and offshore; and
- Collaborates successfully with project team leads and members of IT in relation to testing strategy and requirements
- Quality Assurance best practices;
- Test Case / Script Design and Implementation;
- Microsoft Suite and legal software applications (preferred);
- Business Applications (Microsoft Suite, including Visio, Project, etc.);
- Exhibits strong communication and organizational skills. Highly collaborative, excellent negotiation, critical thinking, and leadership skills as well as exceptional customer service and collaboration abilities; and
- Understanding of testing interactive dashboards and reports for data visualization and analysis such as PowerBI.
- 5 years QA experience supporting large, critical business applications;
- 5 years QA experience with Test and Issue Management Tools;
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques;
- Experience working within Agile & Waterfall Environments;
- Experience testing data migration, ensuring that the migrated data is accurate, complete, and consistent with the source system;
- Creation and execution of SQL Queries involving multiple tables, join statements and stored procedures;
- API Testing Methods (Post, Put, Get, Delete);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand;
- Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
- Must be highly effective within a collaborative environment; and
- Experience leading teams of peers and partners.
