Position Summary:
The Farm/Commercial Account Manager serves as the main point of contact for a book of farm and commercial insurance clients. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, handling renewals, processing policy changes, assisting with claims, and ensuring policy accuracy and coverage adequacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farm and commercial clients
- Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and audits accurately and timely
- Prepare renewal proposals and assist with remarketing as needed
- Work closely with producers to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities
- Assist clients through the claims process, providing support and follow-up
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and documentation standards
- Maintain accurate records and client communications in the agency management system (Applied Epic)
- Collaborate with internal teams to support agency goals and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in commercial lines or farm insurance preferred
- Active Property & Casualty license (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with agency management systems is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
