POSITION: Special Education Resource Teacher
LOCATION: Pewitt Junior High/High School
Position Summary: Provide students with appropriate instruction to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Licenses/Other:
State of Texas Special Education Teaching Certificate
Classroom experience preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
Knowlege of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage classroom
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
