Position Overview
Paul Fredrick is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for owning key areas of the month-end close, preparing reconciliations, assisting with audit & tax deliverables and supporting initiatives around finance transformation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in an environment with evolving priorities.
Key Responsibilities
This is a flexible hybrid role, and our ideal candidate can drive to our Wyomissing, PA office 1-2 times per month. However, excellent candidates outside of this range will be considered for a more remote position with less frequent travel.

This role will be responsible for owning key areas of the month-end close, preparing reconciliations, assisting with audit & tax deliverables and supporting initiatives around finance transformation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable operating in an environment with evolving priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute portions of the monthly and yearly close process
- Prepare and review account reconciliations relating to accounts receivable, debt, accruals, and others
- Assist with revenue/expense recognition and variance analysis
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
- Support annual audit and interim review requests
- Assist with preparation of financial packages for investors and lender
- Coordinate with tax advisors to support estimates, extensions, and return preparation
- Assist in developing and improving accounting processes and internal controls
- Support active technology migrations related to overall finance transformation initiatives
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects, including active technology migrations related to overall finance transformation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2–4 years of accounting experience (1-2 years public accounting preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with month-end close and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with e-commerce, retail or partnership accounting
- Experience working with external auditors and tax advisors
- Experience in a small to mid-size company or high-growth environment
- Experience managing or operating modern accounting/finance technology, including but not limited to; Quickbooks Online (or comparable), close management software, AP/Billpay solutions, FP&A solutions, AI-driven solutions
- CPA or CPA candidate
