Mitigation Manager
The Mitigation Manager will be working within our Emergency Services (Mitigation) Department. The Mitigation Manager’s primary responsible is to ensure growth and development of the mitigation business, department, and staff.
$65,000 - $75,000 yearly bonus opportunities - Based on Experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage up to team members (technicians, crew leaders, coordinators).
- You will handle scheduling, timecards, and performance reviews.
- Set goals for each team member that can be explained and measured; conduct annual, mid year and 90 day performance reviews with staff
- Conduct monthly staff meetings
- Use tools and reporting to budget and margin results (50%)
- Drive response and urgency
- Operations & Logistics:
- Oversee warehouse inventory, equipment tracking, vehicle maintenance, subcontractor compliance and staffing needs.
- Responsible for movement, care, and inventory of equipment in the warehouse and on jobsites, dispatching of Technicians and On Call Schedule
- Financial & Estimates:
- Write and review job estimates using industry software. You must manage job budgets to hit a 50% profit margin and handle collections (Accounts Receivable).
- Mastery of Xactimate is required, along with the ability to learn systems like RMS, Luxor, and Sage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Complete estimates for Mitigation losses
- Review estimates written by Mitigation Crew Leaders
- Client & Carrier Relations:
- Negotiate directly with insurance companies, resolve customer complaints, and market services to local industry professionals.
- Maintain and create good relationship with insurance carriers and vendors
- Auditing of customer service complaints
- Recruit vendors and subcontractors; ensure subcontractor compliance
- Experience:
- You need 5 years in restoration emergency services and 2 years in a management role.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with writing Emergency Services (Mitigation) estimates
- IICRC certifications (like WRT or ASD) are highly preferred.
- Extensive Knowledge of emergency services within the restoration industry
- Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Drive a company vehicle while maintaining a clean driving record
