Role Description The Reconstruction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Vancouver, WA, responsible for managing reconstruction projects from initial assessment through completion. This role coordinates schedules, materials, subcontractors, and in-house crews to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards. Daily tasks include performing site inspections, preparing estimates and scopes of work, obtaining permits, and monitoring progress against project plans. The Reconstruction Project Manager regularly communicates with property owners, insurance representatives, vendors, and internal teams to provide updates, address issues, and maintain strong relationships. This position also involves reviewing project documentation, managing change orders, supporting logistics for equipment and materials, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong project coordination and oversight skills, including Project Management experience in construction, restoration, or related fields.
- Experience with Expeditor and Expediting activities, such as tracking materials, permits, and approvals to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Background in Inspection and quality control, with the ability to assess job sites for safety, code compliance, and workmanship standards.
- Logistics Management skills to plan, schedule, and optimize labor, equipment, and material deliveries across multiple jobs.
- Proficiency in reading construction plans, scopes, and specifications, and using project management or estimating software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with property owners, insurers, vendors, and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to travel to job sites within the service area.
- Preferred: Experience in restoration, insurance-related construction, or emergency services; relevant certifications or training in construction management or related disciplines.
