Role Description
The Reconstruction Estimator is a full-time on-site role located in Norcross, GA. Responsibilities include conducting property inspections to assess damage, preparing detailed and accurate estimates for repair and reconstruction, and communicating effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and contractors. The role involves creating accurate estimates, providing thorough documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Estimator will also foster strong relationships with stakeholders and uphold exemplary customer service standards throughout the restoration process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing construction estimates, reading blueprints, and using estimation software
- Strong knowledge of restoration processes, building codes, and construction practices
- Proven skills in project budgeting, scheduling, and management
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in relevant computer programs to include XMA and Symbility estimating software
- Previous experience in the restoration or construction industry is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED required; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus
- IICRC or similar certifications are highly desirable
