Role Description The Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Seattle, WA. The Associate will perform daily janitorial and custodial tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and restroom and breakroom sanitation. This role will follow established cleaning schedules and checklists, use company-approved cleaning products and equipment safely, and adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times. The Associate will help maintain supply inventories, report maintenance or safety issues, and ensure assigned areas meet Patty’s Cleaning LLC quality expectations. The position requires reliable attendance, collaboration with supervisors and team members, and professional conduct at client locations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to perform commercial cleaning tasks (e.g., floor care, restroom sanitation, surface disinfection, trash and recycling handling).
- Familiarity with safety practices, including proper use of cleaning chemicals, PPE, and adherence to OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow structured checklists and cleaning schedules.
- Dependable work habits, including punctuality, consistent attendance, and responsibility when working independently or with a small team.
- Clear, professional communication skills and respectful interaction with clients, supervisors, and colleagues.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30–40 lbs, bending, and repeated movement throughout the shift.
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Seattle, WA worksites are a plus.
