Key Position Responsibilities

• Helps establish and maintain an effective learning climate in the school
• Leads and implements professional development programming at Drummond Elementary School
• Regularly attends and supervises evening school functions
• Supports building scheduling functions
• Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring for certified and support staff
• Works with students and families to develop individual student learning plans
• Evaluates and supports assigned staff members
• Commits to work hours necessary to meet established goals for school improvement
• Administers school operational policies and procedures
• Collects, maintains, and reports data regarding students as required
• Interprets and enforces district policies and administrative regulations
• Administers safety, security, and emergency policies and procedures
• Communicates with parents/guardians concerning student educational programming
• Prepares and maintains various written reports
• Design and develop the master schedule
• Coordinate and implement site and safety drills and training
• Provide leadership in the scheduling and supervision of after school athletic activities
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Position Qualifications

• Education: Ph.D./Ed.D. or MA/MS in school administration
• Certification: Missouri K-8 Principal Certification or K-12 School Leader Certification

Salary Range
