- Draft, proofread, and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, memos, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Assist attorneys with client interviews by preparing questions and documenting details accurately to facilitate effective communication.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical filing systems; handle data entry tasks efficiently to support case tracking and reporting.
- Support litigation processes through document review, discovery management, and preparation for court proceedings.
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, scheduling appointments, answering phones with professional etiquette, and coordinating meetings.
- Perform legal administrative tasks including transcription of dictations, proofreading documents for accuracy, and supporting project management initiatives within the law office.
- Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience in a law office setting is highly preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; proofreading accuracy is critical.
- Effective interviewing skills to gather pertinent client information accurately during initial consultations or case reviews.
- Ability to handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and general administrative support with professionalism.
