- Assist the VP, Business Transformation with tasks related to M&A analysis, documentation, and execution as assigned.
- Support financial modeling, valuation, scenario analysis, and preparation of related materials.
- Participate in due diligence activities ensuring accuracy and completeness of findings.
- Assist in integration planning, including systems mapping, process alignment, and KPI development.
- Track integration progress and support the preparation of synergy analysis and reporting.
- Help develop templates, playbooks, tools, and repeatable frameworks that strengthen M&A discipline under the guidance of the VP.
- Work closely with the VP, Business Transformation to operationalize, structure, and advance the initiatives owned by the Business Transformation function.
- Follow up, measure, track, and document progress for all initiatives under the VP’s responsibility to ensure disciplined execution and timely advancement.
- Develop and maintain structured templates, action plans, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms specific to the VP Business Transformation’s portfolio.
- Coordinate with contributors involved in Business Transformation initiatives to ensure clarity of milestones, KPIs, timelines, and dependencies related to the VP’s workstreams.
- Prepare consolidated updates, risk assessments, and execution summaries for review by the VP.
- Conduct financial and operational analyses to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Support cross-functional initiatives focused on workflow improvement, margin protection, and operational efficiency.
- Assist in developing business cases, validating financial impact, and tracking savings realization.
- Collaborate closely with IT & Digital Transformation teams on automation, AI, analytics, data platforms, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support the adoption and use of new business systems and tools and technology solutions across the organization.
- Prepare executive-ready presentations, dashboards, KPIs, and business cases for the overall business.
- Build and maintain reporting tools and advanced Power BI dashboards to support decision-making.
- Provide analytical insights using modern tools (AI-enabled analysis, advanced Excel, BI platforms).
- Support project planning, documentation, and structured follow-up across multiple initiatives.
- Coordinate inputs across functional teams to ensure alignment and consistent reporting.
- Maintain a repository of tools, templates, trackers, and transformation documentation.
- Perform any other related duties, tasks, or responsibilities assigned by the VP, Business Transformation, in support of enterprise priorities.
Education
- CPA required.
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree is an asset.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Finance, Corporate Development, Business & Data Analysis, or related fields.
- Strong experience in financial modeling, analysis, and business case development.
- Exposure to M&A diligence and integration is strongly preferred.
- Experience contributing to cross-functional transformation or cost optimization initiatives.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and cross-functional business dynamics.
- Strong IT and digital acumen, including:
- ERP literacy;
- Power BI or equivalent data analytics tools (required);
- Advanced proficiency in AI/automation applications and digital workflows;
- Familiarity with emerging analytics tools and technology platforms.
- Strong project management discipline and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with a disciplined execution mindset.
- High integrity, professionalism, and discretion; able to operate as a trusted advisor.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
