Our company is seeking a skilled and motivated Outdoor Lawn and Garden Employee to maintain and improve our outdoor spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure our outdoor areas are well-maintained, safe, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working outdoors, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and fertilizing
- Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, and other landscaping features
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf removal
- Operate and maintain outdoor equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operation of the company
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in lawn and garden maintenance or a related field
- Knowledge of lawn care and landscaping techniques
- Ability to operate and maintain outdoor equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
