JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform minor preventative maintenance on machinery to support efficient operations.
- Assist with maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and shop equipment.
- Install lights, shelving, workstations, and other facility-related items as needed.
- Maintain accurate forklift logs and support safe equipment operation.
- Obtain forklift certification and operate equipment safely when required.
- Move furniture, equipment, and materials as needed across the facility.
- Ensure work areas and shop floors are clean, organized, and in proper working condition.
- Follow all procedures in accordance with documentation, HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental) policies, and quality standards.
- Perform additional maintenance tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
- Demonstrate accountability in completing assigned maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain awareness of workplace safety practices and proper equipment handling.
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and company policies with attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform hands-on, physical tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to manage multiple small tasks in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to become certified.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 0–1 year of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related hands-on role.
- Comfortable working with tools, machinery, and physical tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prior exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Basic knowledge of preventative maintenance practices.
