This position provides an opportunity to develop skills in electronics maintenance and repair. The Electronics Technician 1 will be trained and mentored by more experienced technicians and will gain hands-on experience in working with electronic systems and equipment.

- Adhere to safety policies and participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments.
- Assist with instrumentation preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Gain a basic understanding of 12V and 24V DC systems, networks, and networking equipment.
- Assist with the repair and maintenance of 12V and 24V DC systems.
- Gain knowledge of reading network schematics and calibration software.
- Maintain eligibility to drive company vehicles and assist other employees as directed.
- Participate in all company-provided training programs.
- Report unsafe acts, conditions, or hazards immediately.
- Perform duties in compliance with customer and company policies and applicable regulations.
- Work toward district goals and understand how to meet those objectives.
- Perform other duties as required by the immediate supervisor.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level sufficient to understand and communicate verbal and written instructions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Basic knowledge of electronics and networks.
- Must complete FOCUS training upon hire.
- Ability to understand district goals and work toward achieving them.
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Associate degree preferred.
- Experience: 0-6 months of related experience or training in electronics.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
