Brief Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

The HR Advisor is responsible for performing general Human Resources related duties in support of regional operations and corporate HR. Specific areas of focus may include recruitment/onboarding, employee relations, training, employee tracking and reporting and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes

This role will work under the direction of the Regional Human Resources Team and will specifically align and coordinate activities with other functions both within the region and corporate. This position will work under the direction of the Human Resources Lead.

Detailed Description

  • Buildsandmaintainsstrongworkingrelationshipswithemployeesatalllevelswithinthe region and organization.
  • AssistsHRandOperationsteamintrackingemployeerigassignmentsand facilitating transfers based on business needs.
  • RunsandreconcilesvariousreportsfromMSExcel(Pasonvs.Oracle,etc.) and Oracle HCMonadaily basis.
  • Submitsemployeestatuschangessuchastransfers,separations, promotions, etc. and maintains electronic files.
  • Assistoperationswithdevelopingandmaintaininghiring forecasts.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team, HR team and managers throughout the recruiting process to open job requisitions, facilitate candidate interviews, and partner with Shared Services team to oversee and review applicant’s status utilizing the Company’s applicant tracking system in compliance with established process requirements.
  • Coordinatethenewhireon-boarding process, I9 completion and new hire orientation.
  • ProvidevariousHRrelatedreportstomanagementsuchashiringactivity,EEOreporting, metrics and statistics, or other reports as required.
  • AssistwithReductionsinForceandcoordinatereplacementemployeeswiththeOperations Department.
  • Conductexitinterviewsandinputdataintothesystemas required.
  • Partner with HR to assist with employee investigations.
  • Administrativedutiesorotherdutiesas assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Occasionaltravelwhichmayrequireovernightstay(s)outsidenormaloffice hours.
  • Ability to safely navigate drilling rig work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping,etc.duringnormalrigoperatingconditions(day/night,outdoorhot/coldweather) including proper use of designated personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Excellentinterpersonalandrelationshipbuildingskillstoworkeffectivelywithalllevelsof leadership, hourly employees and peers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills which include the ability to speak, write and listen in a manner that clarifies issues,promotesclosureanddeliversinformationinaclear andconcisemannerandfacilitatesgood decision-making is required.
  • Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handles sensitive employee information and protect Company proprietary information in an appropriate manner.
  • Highlevelofenergyneededforafast -paced environmentwheremultipleinitiatives arehappening simultaneously.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to run reports and analyze results.
  • Advanced skills inMSOfficetoolsandresources,includingPowerPoint,Excel,Wordand Outlook.

MinimumQualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources (HR), or related field of study.
  • UnderstandingofHRprocesses,practices,legalandregulatory legislation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1yearofexperienceinHuman Resources
  • ExperienceintheOil&Gas industry
  • Stronganalyticalandcriticalthinking skills
  • AbilitytopresentHRinitiativesandtrainingmaterialsandinformationtomanagementand employees
  • Experiencedinworkinginanapplicanttracking system
  • PHR or SHRM-CP
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) experience

Additional Details

Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, or climb stairs with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone and other office equipment. Frequent travel to other Company offices and drilling rig work sites, often in remote locations, is required during normal rig operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather), and employee will be expected to properly use designated personal protective equipment (PPE).
