Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to enhance their shopping experience
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and appealing
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and assisting with inventory replenishment
- Demonstrate professional phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting remote customers
- Support grocery store operations by adhering to safety standards and cleanliness protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive environment for both staff and shoppers
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and clearly communicate features and benefits
