Patterson Ripplinger, P.C., a busy litigation law firm located in Colorado Springs, has an immediate opening for a Paralegal. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a history of significant responsibility for a broad range of litigation support activities, including pleadings, disclosures, written discovery, witness interviews, document and record collection, medical summaries, docketing, case management and trial preparation. New college graduates eager for a career in law are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
· Two plus years of Paralegal experience or bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate.
· Strong working knowledge of federal and state court procedures and e-filing.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Westlaw, and legal practice management software.
· Experience with tracking and recording billable hours preferred.
· Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
· Must exhibit meticulous attention to detail and produce an accurate and high-quality work product.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits; salary starts at $55,000.00 per year but is negotiable for candidates with proven advanced experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, LTD, STD, Life Insurance, 401K and PTO.
