Part-Time Pianist / Keyboardist at Patterson Grove Baptist Church | Kings Mountain, NC
Patterson Grove Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, is seeking a part-time Pianist/Keyboardist to serve as an important part of our church's worship ministry.
The Pianist/Keyboardist will work alongside the Director of Music, pastor, worship team, and other musicians to help create Christ-centered worship experiences that incorporate both traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship music.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Provide piano and keyboard accompaniment for weekly worship services
- Accompany congregational singing, including both hymns & modern worship music
- Play as part of the church's worship team
- Participate in regular worship team rehearsals
- Accompany soloists, ensembles, and other special music as needed
- Assist with seasonal worship services and special music, including Christmas and Easter
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Music, pastor, worship team, and other musicians
Qualifications:
- A baptized Christian with a clear commitment to Jesus Christ and His Church
- A sense of calling and dedication to music ministry
- Competence on the piano, including the ability to sight-read music
- Willingness and ability to play both piano and keyboard as needed
- Ability to accompany both traditional hymns and contemporary worship music
- Ability to work effectively as part of a worship and ministry team
- This is a part-time, salaried staff position with Patterson Grove Baptist Church.
