Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants or cafes
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy hours
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or related roles in the food industry or grocery stores is highly valued
