THIS IS A SHORT-TERM CONTRACT THAT ENDS ON AUGUST 31, 2026.
JOB TITLE: Assistive Technology Assessment Analyst I
LOCATION: Mark Center, Alexandria, VA
SUPPORTING: DHRA CAP Contract
JOB CATEGORY: Full-Time
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

The salary range or hourly rate provided reflects the typical range for this position and represents just one part of Patrona Corporation’s comprehensive total compensation package.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Communications, Social Sciences, Education, Special Education, Rehabilitation Management, or closely related field, or professional equivalent experience is required.
- Experience in market research, assistive technology, and job accommodations is preferred.
- Specialized disability subject matter education, training, and experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of assistive technology used by people with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of physical, sensory, and cognitive aspects of people with disabilities, to include functional limitations, is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with internal and external CAP customers via phone, email and in person.
- Provide support during needs assessments to determine assistive technology for CAP customers.
- Review medical documentation and accommodation requests submitted by CAP customers.
- Provide support at local and non-local events and presentations.
- Participate in assistive technology demonstrations for CAP customers, the general public, and other external constituents.
- Provide support at the CAP Technology Evaluation Center (CAPTEC) located in the Pentagon.

- Interpersonal skills and soft skills: problem-solving, accountability, active listening, empathy, and adaptability.
- Written communication: ability to craft clear, concise, and professional written communication across various formats.
- Verbal communication skills: ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint for project tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
