Patrol KC is actively seeking skilled **Armed Patrol Officers** and **Armed Stationary Officers** to join our team. Applicants must have at least one year of patrol experience (multi-family experience preferred) and must currently possess or have previously held a KCMO Armed Security License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas (interior and exterior) for safety and security risks.
- Carry a weapon for de-escalation and defensive purposes.
- Prevent unauthorized access to facilities and property.
- Respond to reported incidents as required.
- Monitor closed-circuit television feeds for potential security issues.
- Maintain logs of activities, documenting visitors and incidents.
- Coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
Minimum Hiring Standards:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of armed security experience.
- Licensing: Must possess or have previously held a KCMO Armed Security License.
- Communication: Reliable means of communication (cell phone) and the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Transportation: Must have a reliable means of private transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Driving Record:Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Equipment: Must provide own equipment, including a duty belt, firearm (with level 2 holster), black BDU style pants, clean black boots, and vest.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to:
- Clear communication and documentation.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Ability to learn and use various security devices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

- Handcuffing & Frisk Control – Proven techniques for safe restraint, searches, and subject control while minimizing risk to officers and the public.
- Ground Combatives Training – Defensive tactics focused on controlling resistant subjects and protecting officers during close-contact encounters.
- Weapon Retention & Firearms Training – Critical skills for firearm safety, weapon retention, defensive shooting fundamentals, and judgment under stress.

Compensation:
Starting Salary:$18.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and equipment.
