What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Patrizia's of Hicksville?
Busy Italian neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of Hicksville, Long Island is looking for an organized, tidy and confident individual who has a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality. Our location has about 250-seats between the main dining room and private dining area; and a 10 bar-seat looking for creative, confident individual with great attitudes and competitive work ethic.
Requirements:
* Minimum (3) years bussing experience in an upscale and fast-paced setting
* Ability to multi task across the dining room providing the highest and finest service in a high volume setting
* Build rapport with the guests
* Team player with positive attitude
* Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively to co-workers and guests
* Strong leadership skills with the capacity to foster and maintain service consistency
* Ensure proper safety and sanitation practices are in place and that the established standards are consistently achieved
* Strong knowledge of computerized Point of Sales system operations
* Dedicated, organized and detail-oriented
* Ability to identify tables effectively
* Consistently maintain service standards, daily sidework and set-up
