Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated person to fill the role of Program Specialist to lead and coordinate community-focused initiative. The Program Specialist will lead the delivery of a new seasonal Scouting program designed to engage youth through high-quality, adventure-focused, age-appropriate activities. This role is hands-on focusing on direct program delivery, coordination of activities, youth engagement, and maintaining a safe, positive environment that reflects the values of Scouting America.

The Program Specialist will be instrumental in delivering a high quality educational program that introduces families to Scouting America.
This program is for a 15 week placement and reviewed at the end of each 15 week session.
Responsibilities
- Lead scheduled seasonal program sessions for youth (ages 8-11).
- Deliver engaging activities including outdoor skills, STEM, nature exploration, team-building, and Scouting methods.
- Oversee program logistics, including resource allocation, and data collection for performance metrics.
- Maintain administrative records accurately and prepare reports on program outcomes.
- Ensure all programming follows Scouting America policies, safety standards, and age-appropriate guidelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in supervising and delivering youth programs.
- Strong background in public speaking and teaching skills.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
