Patriots International is currently seeking an IAMD Acquisition Systems Management/Subject Matter Expert to support our customer at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
The position directly supports the customer within PEO Missiles and Space. Interested applicants must possess advanced levels of knowledge and skills in order to support the analysis of data and documentation supporting the acquisition process. Additionally, the applicant must be capable of a producing high-level functional systems analysis, design, documentation, training, and advice on complex problems which require an exceptionally high level of knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Duties Include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide a detailed assessment and recommended changes to acquisition documentation supporting key aviation programs
Facilitate the preparation and delivery of presentations to key leadership
Coordinate directly with key stakeholders to ensure supported efforts remain properly aligned both internally and externally to the organization
Document, analyze and assess cost, schedule and performance risks for programs within the portfolio
Provide advice on esoteric problems which require extensive knowledge of the subject matter
Prepare reports, studies, presentations and related documentation to support the leadership team
Develop charts and graphs to record results, present critical information and document key decisions
Education and Experience Requirements:Candidates must possess a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution. While a Masters degree in a related field for the position (MBA, Acquisition Management) is preferred, the degree may be substituted with 10 years or more of DoD acquisition related experience.
Minimum Requirements:
An inherent working knowledge of the Department of Defense Acquisition process
DAU Advanced/Level III in Program Management; additional DAU qualifications preferred
At least 15 years of DoD acquisition experience; At least 7 years of IAMD acquisition related experience
Knowledge of the software environment and familiarization with the AGILE process
Experience as a Product/Program Manager or Deputy Product/Program Manager
Experience with Department of the Army Staff or Joint/Agency Staff
An in-depth understanding of IAMD platforms
Proven ability to assess complex problems and to translate assessments into coherent presentations
Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills
Work well within a team and to interact professionally with senior military leadership
The ability to meet challenging deadlines and identify solutions to complex problems
Applicants for positions which require a US government security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship

Pay: $172,000.00 - $208,000.00 per year
