Patriots Glen, located in the Lake Hills area of Bellevue is hiring a Full-Time housekeeper for their senior living community!!
- Full Time
- Thursday-Monday 9AM-3:30PM
- $17.50-$20.50 Hourly DOE
Our patients receive specialized short-term or rehabilitative care following surgery or a hospital stay. We are an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team built from the very best among physicians, therapists, nurses, social workers, dietitians, wound care specialists, and more. Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of patients' rooms and common areas as assigned.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways, and common areas
- Prepares patient rooms for move-in as assigned.
- Collect, wash, fold and return resident linen and personal laundry weekly. Ensure that all personal items are labeled.
- Participates in annual cleaning schedules.
- Provide additional cleaning/sanitizing of incontinent resident suites as directed.
- Clean carpets by extraction method and/or shampooing as directed.
- Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
- Informs supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
- Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
- Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures of Mission Healthcare.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Education or Equivalent
- Six (6) months minimum experience in Housekeeping, preferred
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Proven working experience in relevant field
- Ability to work independently and remain motivated
