Job Summary
Patriot Traffic Solutions is a professional utility and roadway traffic-control provider based in Indiana. Our mission is to protect workers, motorists, and the public by delivering reliable, precision-driven traffic-control services. We partner with electric utilities, municipalities, and contractors—such as AES Indiana and regional construction firms—to keep critical infrastructure projects moving safely and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain safe work zones in accordance with MUTCD and INDOT standards.
- Direct traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and radios.
- Install and remove cones, signs, arrow boards, and other traffic-control devices.
- Communicate clearly with crew members, motorists, and the public.
- Conduct pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections and complete daily safety forms.
- Follow all company safety policies and exercise stop-work authority when hazards arise.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- ATSSA Traffic Control Technician Certification (or willingness to obtain—training provided).
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
