Job Description: Technical Specialist (LAN)
CCNP certified is a mandatory requirement for this
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible to deliver the services associated with LAN Service Module based on the scope set out in the MSA
• Own the Service Levels and contractual commitments including the Service Level reporting for the LAN Service Module
• Re-purpose/re-mobilize the critical operational resources to meet any immediate requirement across Service Delivery and Operations.
• Drive Continuous Service Improvement for LAN Service Module
• Own and implement the Business Continuity plan for the operations of the LAN Service module
• Responsible for the demand and consumption of the Services of the LAN Service module
• Support Customer’s Service Delivery Managers in delivering their responsibilities.
• Participate in customer calls and be contact for regional customers to respond/support on potential design questions
• Support to Operations Team on Incidents and complex requests
• Travel within region may be required
Minimum Job Entry Requirements
• Bachelor of engineering degree and 8-10 years of experience on Networking Technologies.
• Experience on Large Enterprise Networks as a Service/Technical Delivery Manager.
• Strong experience on CISCO Nexus/Catalyst/Meraki WLAN technologies
• Strong understanding of Network Segmentation approaches and CISCO SD Access based Network Segregation
• Knowledge and experience on Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) and Cisco ISE will be a plus.
• Must have CCNP (Routing & Switching)/CCIE R&S desirable
• Ability to coordinate with various teams involved in the BASF Contract to deliver the services to the customer on time also with the committed quality.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced complex network environment.
• Self-starter with attention to detail and ability to maintain focus over long periods of time.
• Ability to work “on call” support at odd hours as needed.
• Besides fluent in English additional Language is desired

• Radius Server – Cisco ISE/Appliance Server (SDDC)/Halt3 cage SG4
Engagement terms:
· Location: Research Triangle Park, NC, 27709 (Near Durham, NC)
· Hourly rate on 1099: $30-35/hr.
- Candidates should require having a Professional and general liability insurance that is typical of an independent contractor for 1099. It is quite cheap and easy to get this insurance.
- Work shift/Business Hours: Monday to Friday (8X5) local business time. however, may need to extend shift or on call support.
- Duration: 1-year initial term with annual extension up to 5 years based on performance
- The start date: Mid of Aug 2025
- 2 stage interview –MS Teams/Video
- Must pass standard background investigation & drug screening
