Job Title: Security Officer

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for preventing security breaches, monitoring surveillance systems, responding promptly to incidents, and maintaining order within the premises.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to secure the premises effectively
- Operate and monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems
- Respond promptly to alarms and security issues
- Enforce security protocols and regulations to uphold order
- Provide assistance and support to customers and staff as needed
- Document detailed reports on security incidents
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Greet and screen individuals entering the site
Experience:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and keen observation skills
- Ability to remain composed and act efficiently during emergencies
- Possession of a First Aid certificate is advantageous
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques
- CPR certification is preferred
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
- Military background or experience is a plus
- Competency in CCTV monitoring and surveillance techniques
- Must be able to perform hourly patrols via round verification system
- Must be able to complete reports both verbally and written
- Must be 21 yrs. or older
- Full Time
Mon-Wed. 2p-10p & Sat-Sun 6a-2p
Must be willing to work overtime when needed
