What are the responsibilities and job description for the Off Duty/Retired Law Enforcement position at Patriot Safeguard Services?
Off Duty Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) are asked to assist with the setup and break down of the traffic control zone and help direct traffic in and around the work zone, specifically at intersections. NO BLUE LIGHTS are permitted at the worksite. LEO’s need to be seen, be aware, and be a presence.
LICENSES, PERMITS, CERTIFICATIONS
· State Certification from Academy
· Commission Card or LEOSA
· Current Status in department (Active, Retired)
· Valid Driver’s License
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
Close to a class B
Duty Belt
Armed
Patriot Safeguard Services will provide a class 2 high visibility vest.
Employment will be on a 1099 status. A 1099 contract, W-9 form and direct deposit form will need to be filled out. Checks will be issued weekly (Mondays) until direct deposit is set up.
