Summary:
We are seeking motivated individuals wanting to become professional Pool Technicians to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining pools, testing water chemistry and making balancing adjustments, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. We will train the right candidates for success.
Excellent job for retirees, couples teams, part-timers, and military veterans. Our most successful technicians have had other careers and enjoy the flexibility of the position.
Year around positions, but workload does slow in the offseason - not as busy in the November through March timeframe. Plenty of work in the warm weather months with vacation rentals and private vacation homes in full swing. Make money while the sun is shining.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance - brush, net, vacuum
- Operate vehicles and industry equipment
- Test and balance water chemistry
- Clean and service various pool systems
- Inspect and repair pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, etc.)
- Identify and resolve small leaks or other issues
- Provide excellent customer service with a professional demeanor.
- Enter data in app based management system.
- Ability to drive company truck in a professional, safe, and legal way.
Requirements:
- Absolutely must have valid drivers license and good driving record.
- Experience in pool maintenance (preferred,but not required)
- Strong self starter with ability to manage own workload with little supervision.
- Ability to learn various pool systems and discern varying pool systems.
- Ability to start work shift before 9AM.
- Ability to work Saturdays and limited schedules on Summer holidays.
- Experience in pool maintenance (preferred but not required)
- Mechanical experience is helpful, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - availability is crucial.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

- *** EXTRA INCOME POTENTIAL *** Commission pay rate for specialty jobs on routes - up to $25 per hour.
- *** EXTRA INCOME POTENTIAL *** $50 referral commission paid to employee sourced pool service contracts, upon closing.
- *** EXTRA INCOME POTENTIAL *** 10% per pool bonus for covering other routes and pools for technicians out sick or on vacation. As needed.
