Representative campaign, a conservative candidate running to represent PA House District 173 in
Northeast Philadelphia. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground job for people who want to make a real
difference in their community and get real experience in political campaigns.
You'll be knocking doors, talking to voters, and helping build the grassroots organization that wins elections.
This is not a desk job — it's for people who like being active, talking to people, and getting results.
What You'll Do
- Canvass door-to-door in PA House District 173 (Northeast Philadelphia) daily from approximately
4:00–8:00 PM
- Have honest, respectful conversations with voters about Bill Griffin and the issues that matter to their neighborhood: public safety, strong schools, affordable living, and support for seniors and families
- Accurately track voter contacts and data using our canvassing app
- Represent the campaign professionally and be a positive presence in the community
- Hit daily door and conversation goals
- Report to your team leader/field organizer at the start and end of each shift

- Genuinely interested in your community and local issues
- Comfortable walking neighborhoods for several hours a day, in all weather
- Strong communicator who can talk to anyone, handle rejection, and stay positive
- Team player who takes direction well
- Must live in or near Northeast Philadelphia / District 173
- Prior canvassing, sales, retail, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required — we will train
you
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation to the canvassing location is helpful but not requiredGrowth Opportunity
We promote from within. Canvassers who consistently show up, perform, and take ownership of their work
have a direct path to becoming a Field Organizer / Team Leader, with increased pay and responsibility,
including training and managing a team of canvassers. If you're serious about a future in campaigns and
politics, this is a real way in.
Pay & Schedule
- $20.00/hour, paid on a regular schedule
- Shifts run daily, approximately 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Part-time seasonal position through Election Day, with the potential for additional hours and days as the
campaign ramps up
About Bill Griffin
For 35 years, families in Northeast Philadelphia knew Bill Griffin as the teacher and principal who cared about
their kids. He served at Austin Meehan Middle School, Kennedy Crossan Elementary School, John Hancock
Elementary Demonstration School, and General J. Harry LaBrum Middle School, working to create
classrooms where students could grow and learn, and where parents felt heard and respected. Families
trusted Bill because he was fair, steady, and always showed up for the community.
After retiring from the School District, Bill didn't slow down. Today he serves families as a licensed real estate
agent, guiding them through home sales, purchases, and big decisions. When schools need a trusted leader,
Bill still answers the call as a substitute principal.
Bill and his wife, Dawn, raised their family in Northeast Philadelphia. Now a grandfather of seven, Bill
understands the pressures families face today — from safety and stability to rising prices and higher costs
impacting seniors and working parents. He isn't a career politician; he's a neighbor who listens and solves
problems.
As State Representative, Bill will put people before politics and fight for practical solutions on public safety,
strong public schools, affordable living, and support for seniors and families — making everyday life better for
Northeast Philadelphia.
