Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within our facility, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all our residents, staff and families. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere through diligent cleaning and upkeep of our premises.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for all occupants
Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within scheduled shifts
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain confidentiality regarding guest information
- Nice-to-have skills include knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, or previous hospitality experience
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
