Job Summary
Patriot Pipeline is growing and is currently seeking experienced Underground Utility Foremen and Leadmen to join our team.
We specialize in the installation of water, sewer, and storm drain utility systems throughout New Mexico. We're looking for dependable, safety-focused professionals who take pride in quality workmanship, lead by example, and work well as part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise underground utility crews while maintaining a safe and productive job site.
- Install water, sewer, and storm drain main lines according to plans and specifications.
- Read and interpret construction plans, grade sheets, and utility drawings.
- Ensure proper line and grade using pipe lasers and other surveying equipment.
- Coordinate daily work activities with project management.
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and skid steers as needed.
- Perform trench layout, excavation, pipe installation, backfill, and testing.
- Monitor productivity and ensure efficient use of equipment, materials, and company assets.
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Train and mentor crew members while maintaining a positive team environment.
- Maintain quality workmanship and meet project schedules.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Underground Utility Foreman or Leadman a must.
- Extensive experience installing water, sewer, and storm drain utilities.
- Ability to read construction plans, grade sheets, and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of underground utility construction methods.
- Experience operating excavators, loaders, and skid steers.
- Knowledge of pipe lasers and grade control.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot field issues and make sound decisions.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to work 40–50 hours per week, including overtime when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience with municipal utility projects.
