Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and potential entry points.
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate methods and products, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Develop customized pest management plans tailored to each client’s needs, emphasizing environmentally friendly solutions when possible.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and client interactions for compliance and follow-up purposes.
- Educate clients on pest prevention strategies, including landscape maintenance, lawn care tips, and landscaping practices that reduce pest attraction.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently during treatment applications.
- Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on complex cases involving pests in agricultural or landscaping settings.
- Stay current with industry regulations, new pest control techniques, and product innovations to ensure best practices are maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience or strong interest in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture fields.
- Knowledge of pest management techniques and familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other relevant equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate vehicles safely across different terrains.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for educating clients and collaborating with team members effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk long distances, lift heavy equipment or supplies as needed during treatments.
Preferred qualifications include sales experience related to service delivery or customer engagement.
